Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Get Pest Fixed is operated by Ridge Rise Media (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We run a lead referral service: we connect homeowners who need pest control with independent, licensed pest control providers in their area. We do not perform pest control services ourselves.

This policy applies to this website and to the phone and text communications that follow from a request you submit here.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you complete the quote form, you provide:

• Contact details — first and last name, email address, and phone number.
• Service details — your ZIP code, the type of pest you are seeing, and how soon you need service.
• Consent record — whether you checked the consent box, the exact wording you agreed to, and the date and time you agreed.

If you call the number listed on this site, your call may be routed to a provider or scheduling representative, and it may be recorded or monitored by whoever answers it for quality and training purposes.

Information collected automatically

• Technical data — your IP address, browser user agent, and the URL of the page you submitted the form from.
• Usage data — pages viewed, buttons and call links tapped, form steps completed, and similar interaction events, collected through cookies and analytics tags.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, or health information, and you should not send them to us.

3. How we use your information

• To match your request with pest control providers who serve your ZIP code.
• To contact you about your request by phone, text, or email.
• To verify and document your consent to be contacted.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent, duplicate, or abusive submissions.
• To measure how our advertising and this website perform, and to improve them.
• To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

4. How we share your information

This is the core of what we do, so we want to be direct about it: when you submit the quote form, we share the information you provided with one or more third-party pest control providers, contractors, or marketing partners so they can contact you about your request. The companies that may receive it are listed on our Participating Providers page. Those companies are independent businesses. Once your information reaches them, their own privacy practices govern what they do with it, and we do not control those practices.

We also share information with:

• Service providers that operate this site on our behalf — hosting, database, email and SMS delivery, call routing, and analytics vendors.
• Advertising and analytics partners, including Google, through the tags described in section 6.
• Legal and safety recipients — when we are required to by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
• A successor entity, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Because we are compensated by the providers we refer you to, some state privacy laws treat our sharing of your information as a “sale” or as “sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.” See section 8 for how to opt out.

We do not rent or sell your information to unrelated data brokers.

5. Calls, texts, and your consent

By checking the consent box and submitting the form, you agree that Get Pest Fixed and the pest control providers listed on our Participating Providers page may contact you at the phone number you provided, including by calls and text messages sent using automated technology, even if that number is on a federal or state Do Not Call registry. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. To stop text messages from a given sender, reply STOP to that sender. Reply HELP for help. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in the email. To stop calls, tell the caller to place you on their internal do-not-call list.

Opting out with us does not automatically opt you out with a provider who has already received your information; you may need to make the same request to them directly. You can also contact us at privacy@getpestfixed.com and we will pass your request along to the partners we shared your information with.

6. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the page and to measure advertising performance. These tools set their own cookies and receive your IP address and interaction events.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics specifically by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Because there is no consistent industry standard for handling them, we do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

7. Your choices

• Don't submit the form. You can call us directly instead — that route does not require you to leave written contact details on this site.
• Ask us to delete your request. Email privacy@getpestfixed.com from the address you submitted, or include the phone number you gave us.
• Opt out of contact using the methods in section 5.

8. State privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

California residents. Under the CCPA/CPRA you may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the categories of sources, our purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to. You may also submit a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” request. In the twelve months before this policy was last updated, we collected the identifiers, commercial information, and internet activity categories described in section 2, and disclosed identifiers and commercial information to the recipients described in section 4.

Opting out of sale or sharing. Use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser.

How to submit other requests. Email privacy@getpestfixed.com with the request type and enough information for us to locate your record — normally the phone number or email address you submitted. We will verify your identity by matching that information against our records, and we will respond within the timeframe your state's law requires. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization.

9. How long we keep your information

We keep quote requests and the consent records attached to them for as long as needed to provide the service and to document consent — which, for TCPA-related records, is generally at least five years — and longer where a law, audit, or legal claim requires it. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics tools we use. When a record is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect the information you submit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, email privacy@getpestfixed.com and we will delete it.

12. Third-party websites

Our pages and the messages you receive may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and this policy does not apply to them.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
